RAKU - bowl

On my last day of this year's course we did Raku firing. My first time ever! I saved one piece for this Japanese firing technique. Next year we will do Raku firing again and I will have to save more pieces for that.  I love how my piece turned out. I glazed it with white glaze and I made sure I didn't glaze the whole piece so it would turn black. I love all of it; the cracks, the black bottom and the slight pinkish colour.
